Angled Cedar Window Boxes

This Cedar project was an interesting one. When I was asked if I could build a set of two matching cedar window planter boxes, I said, “ Sure, no problem” only if woodworking was ever so simple. From all the research I’ve done online, there are similar boxes with a angle in the front but they’re all 1x6 and that’s it, while what I’ve been able to achieve was two 1x6” boards stacked on top of one another and just like cutting crown molding, was able to give them that gorgeous 45 degree angle corner while have the front face of the box angle outwards 15 degrees. The shutters we custom made as well, also the backyard shed window trim to match with the houses cedar theme. This already lovely home, just received some fresh décor by yours truly, -Ryan- Fresh Brew Woodworks
