Prepping for Epoxy!

This client requested river dining table sits at 80” L x41” W with a thickness of nearly 2”. ITS HEAVY! One of our heaviest tables to move about as of yet.

We poured in the river a little over a month ago and with its size, allowed it a month of curing to insure no moveme, warping would come about once popped up from its form.

Both sides have been flattened and the underside has been finished and allowed 3 weeks to cure.

Now, it's flipped right side up and sanding through grits 60-220 over a span of 8.5 hours in 3 days, the edges have been trimmed off for a fresh face and next up are the edge profiles a light hand sanding on those and then the final stage will commence.

Applying a clear epoxy resin topcoat approximately .25” thick. We only use the best tabletop epoxy resin on the market, “ULTRA CLEAR “ their tabletop epoxy is great for bars, countertops or even crafts for the crafters and diys. It's clarity is unreal and have a strength and hardness of 98 out of 100, (it's really good epoxy).

We will share an update as the rest of this build takes place, check out our YouTube channel here in the next week or so for full length, real time videos of the epoxy pouring.

We appreciate your time reading over this, please leave us a comment or a suggestion with what you think we can improve on. 👍☕🪵
